Ride2Autonomy
MAPtm is one of the core partners of Ride2Autonomy: a new EU-funded project that aims to promote automated shuttle integration into urban public transportation.
The project will collect knowledge and experience from pilots in ten EU cities: Aveiro (PT), Barcelona (ES), Charleroi (BE), Differdange (LU), Inverness (UK), Reggio Emilia (IT), Tampere (FI), Tartu (EE), Trikala (EL) and Vianden (LU).
MAPtm leads activity on pilot definition, implementation and knowledge building. This activity includes pilot supervision, setting up educational campaigns for user groups, a stocktaking of the state-of-the-art of Mobility-as-a-Service, and scenario and business model development.
We are excited to be part of this project and are eager to turn gathered challenges and lessons learnt into practical guidelines for public authorities. With our involvement we aim to contribute to the fast changing world of vehicle automation by creating stepping stones and guidelines for future automated public transport initiatives.
